Made from corn, barley and red winter wheat, Maker's Mark bourbon is aged for 6-7 years in American white oak casks and bottled only when the bourbon has reached its full flavor and aroma. The drink has an intense aroma of oak, caramel, vanilla and wheat from the barrel. On the palate you will feel the sweet, balanced fruit elements, the finish is soft, smooth and pleasant. You can taste it cold, with an ice cube, as well as in cocktails.

Brand History

Established in 1840, Maker's Mark Kentucky is one of the oldest distilleries still operating on the site of its original opening and is a National Historic Landmark. In 1943, Bill Samuel purchased the old distillery and began developing a new, unique bourbon recipe. After eight years, the recipe was ready. In the production of whiskey, Bill Samuel did not use rye, he added corn and barley to winter wheat. While searching for the perfect grain ratio, Bill mastered a number of interesting bourbon recipes, and his wife, Marge Samuel, created the original bottle design that is still in use today. Maker's Mark whiskey is aged in the barrel not by time, but by taste and aroma, so it is tasted during the aging process and bottled when the bourbon reaches perfection.
